| You start with 50 attribute points, and can't put more than 25 in an attribute at level 1. Every level you gain 4 attribute points that you divide among 4 attributes. These attributes are Strength, Agility, Endurance, and Luck. - Strength:
Strength governs how much you can hold and how much damage you can do. It is a required attribute for most weapon and armor usage, and is required to smith.
- Every 5 points in Strength increases base damage by 1-3. (Does not apply to Blade Throwing)
- Any metal forging, repairing, and refining skill cannot be higher than 5 times your Strength.
- Every point in Strength increases your weight limit by 2.
- Every 4 points in Strength increases the effectiveness of Sword Skills by 1%. (Does not apply to Blade Throwing)
- Agility:
Agility governs how fast you can move and has effects on skills that deal with movement. This attribute also helps with the sprint and acrobatics skill.
- Every 4 points in Agility increases base run speed by .1.
- Every 3 points in Agility increases the effectiveness of the sprint and acrobatics skill by 1%.
- Every 5 points in Agility increases Blade Throwing damage by 1-1.
- Every 4 points in Agility increases Blade Throwing sword skills effectiveness by 1%.
- Endurance:
Endurance governs how much health you have, as well as how strong your defensive items are. It helps greatly with stats that deal with armor or healing, and even boosts healing effects.
- Every point in Endurance increases max health by 5.
- Every 3 points in Endurance increases healing effects by 1%.
- Every 4 points in Endurance increases Armor effectiveness by 1%.
- Every 4 points in Endurance gives a .5% chance to not use any durability for armor.
- Luck:
This attribute influences many things in the world, and turns them for your favor. This helps blacksmiths, thieves, and warriors alike.
- Every 2 points in Luck increases Blacksmithing success chance by .5% and upgrading success chance .3%.
- Every 4 points in Luck increases critical strike chance by .5% percent and critical strike damage by 1%. (Weapon has to have Critical Strike Chance for this to apply)
- Every 5 points in Luck increases how much COL you earn from enemies by 1%.
- Every 8 points in Luck increases your chances of getting an uncommon or higher by 1%.
- Every 10 points in Luck increases success rate of Throwing Blades, Picking, Cooking, Sewing, Negotiation, Medicine Mixing, Howl, Emergency Recovery, and Fishing by 1%. (Does not affect percentages that you have not unlocked yet.)
